QR codes are the fastest way to connect something physical to something digital — a poster to a landing page, an asset to its record, a meeting room to its Wi-Fi. Pick a content type above, enter your details, and the code updates live. Higher error correction (or adding a logo) makes the code denser but more resilient to scuffs and partial damage — useful when the code lives on equipment that takes a beating.

Tracking physical assets? Every UNIO24 asset gets its own QR or NFC tag, so a scan opens the full record — location, holder, maintenance history, and check-in/out — right on a phone. The asset tagging playbook covers durable labeling at scale, and our guide to setting up QR code asset tracking walks through the full process end to end.

QR code generator — common questions

Quick answers about creating, customizing, and using the QR codes you generate here.

  • Is this QR code generator really free?

Yes — completely free, no sign-up, no watermark, and no limit on how many codes you create. The QR codes you generate are static and never expire.

What can I encode in a QR code?

A website URL, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials (so people connect with a scan instead of typing a password), an email address with an optional pre-filled subject and message, or a phone number. Pick the content type and the right fields appear.

Need a batch of codes instead of one?

Use the bulk QR code generator — paste a list, upload a CSV, or generate a sequence, and export up to 500 QR codes as PNGs, a ZIP, or a print-ready Avery PDF sheet.

Do my QR codes expire or stop working?

No. These are static QR codes — the data is encoded directly into the image, so they keep working forever with no account and no server in the loop. The trade-off is that you can't edit the destination after printing; generate a new code if the target changes.
