What's the difference between Maintenance and Work Orders?

Maintenance is the plan: PM schedules, inspection procedures, service intervals. Work Orders are the execution: individual tasks assigned to technicians. When a Maintenance schedule fires, UNIO24 auto-generates a Work Order. Both are included on every plan.

Does it auto-create work orders from PM schedules?

Yes. When a trigger fires, a draft work order is generated with the asset, procedure, required parts, and assigned technician. A manager approves (or it auto-approves with configured rules), and the technician sees it on mobile.
